[LEGAL BUSINESS NAME], doing business as Osprey Media ("we", "us"), runs ospreymedia.us. This page explains what information we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We don't sell personal information and we don't use advertising trackers.
What we collect
- When you request a shoot: your name, email, phone, the property address, preferred date and time, the services you pick, anything you write in the notes, how you heard about us (and who referred you, if you tell us), and the website or link you arrived from (for example “Google” or “Instagram”).
- If you’re a client: your email address for signing in, plus the shoots, photos, invoices, estimates and bookings that belong to your account, and any branding details (name, brokerage, phone) you ask us to put on photos.
- Visit counts: when you open a page, our own site records the page, the type of device (phone, tablet or computer) and where the visit came from. It does not store your IP address or set a tracking cookie. Instead it keeps an anonymous code made from the day, your network address and browser, which changes every day, so a visitor can’t be followed from one day to the next.
- Emails you send us and notes we keep about our work together.
Cookies and similar technology
We use only what the site needs to work: a sign-in cookie for clients and staff (it keeps you signed in for up to 30 days on that device), a setting that remembers light or dark mode, and a short-lived note of where your visit came from, which is cleared when you close the tab. There are no advertising, social-media or third-party analytics cookies.
How we use it
- To answer your request, schedule and deliver shoots, send estimates and invoices, and run your client account.
- To send you emails about work you asked for, such as sign-in links, estimates, invoices and delivery notices.
- After a paid job, to ask once for a Google review. We ask each client one time only, and you can reply to say no and we won’t ask again.
- To understand, in total, which pages and channels bring us work, and to keep our books.
Who we share it with
Only with companies that run parts of the business for us, and only what each one needs: Vercel (hosts the website), Supabase (stores our database and handles sign-in), Resend (sends our email), and, when they’re turned on, a photo-storage provider and a payment processor. We also use AI tools from Anthropic and OpenAI inside our own business dashboard to answer questions about our schedule and finances; they receive business information such as client names and amounts, not your photos. We may share information when the law requires it. We never sell or rent personal information.
Text messages
We don’t send text messages through this website today. If we add text reminders later, we’ll ask for your permission separately, and you’ll be able to reply STOP at any time.
How long we keep it
Shoot requests and client records are kept while we work together and for up to seven years afterwards for tax and accounting. Visit counts hold no personal information. You can ask us to delete your information sooner, unless we have to keep it by law (for example, invoices).
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop receiving emails from us: email us at [EMAIL] or call [PHONE]. We’ll respond within 30 days. If you live in a state with its own privacy law, you have those rights too, and we won’t treat you differently for using them.
Security
Client information is protected by rules in the database itself, so each client can only see their own shoots and invoices. Sign-in uses one-time email links instead of passwords. No system is perfectly secure, and if something ever went wrong we would tell affected clients promptly.
Children
This site and our services are for businesses and adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy we’ll update the date at the top. Questions: email us at [EMAIL] or call [PHONE], or write to [LEGAL BUSINESS NAME], [MAILING ADDRESS]. See also our Terms of Service and Accessibility statement.
